This is a purely mechanical extension to your existing military ignition switch that converts it to a keyed ignition. Cheap electronic keyed ignitions have been blamed for many electrical issues including destroying expensive Start Boxes and others. Using a mechanical keyed ignition in this way increases security while not changing the electronics of the vehicle to avoid harming expensive components at an inconvenient time.

It comes with parts which offset the existing mil-spec ignition deeper behind the dash and connects it to the keyed cylinder to make it function like a normal keyed ignition.

Compatible with the Mil-Spec ignition that originally had no key. **It does not include the military ignition switch, you must use your own.**

REQUIRES a 3/4" hole where the factory ignition switch hole is in the dash board. This can be done with a traditional drill bit or very carefully with a step drill bit.
