Schwend Waterjet, Welding, & Fabrication

Schwend Waterjet was founded in late 2017 by Hana and Austen Schwend.  Hana and Austen are mechanical engineers with experience in many fields of engineering, including Manufacturing, Research and Development, Quality, Production, Design, Project Management and Construction Management.

The shop is currently centering around the capabilities of a Wardjet CNC waterjet machine.

​

The CNC waterjet has a cutting window of 5'x10'.  It is capable of cutting materials up to 12" thick, including metals, glass that is not tempered, stone, ceramics, carbon fiber, rubber, foam, wood, etc.

​

We also have the capability to MIG (GMAW) weld aluminum, steel, and copper.  Other materials can be welded depending on the needs of the customer.

A large bed manual lathe was added in 2021.
